![]() It's quite a medium-lengthed game that could be finished in about 1-2 weeks if you dedicate your days to it. Elsword requires you to be dedicated if you want the reward at the end of the tunnel. A few flaws to the gameplay is that grinding could sometimes just really get boring and killing the field monsters could get tiring too. They revamped all the choosable characters and changed the way you played with them to make it seem more exciting and more original by getting rid of skill points and allowing you to gain more skills by simply leveling up (you are allowed to upgrade your chosen skills in two paths though). The creators of the game recently updated Elsword and Season 2 of it has started. Sure, it takes some time practicing and memorising your character's combos, but once you have mastered the combos then you will surely be satisfied. Even the skills are satisfying when you just field wipe the monsters and see those big damage dealing numbers on your screen. Elsword in particular catches my eye because of how satisfying most of the combos you can perform are. I like combo type games so maybe that's why I like the gameplay so much. ![]() Gameplay - The gameplay is definitely not original, but it's unique in it's own way. It does have it's ups and downs because some people just straight out do not like 'cartoon-y' styled games. It's an original art style that should be given more credit for. In my opinion, the art style is colourful and the world of Elsword is overall wonderful to look at and feels somewhat pleasing. To some people, this type of art style doesn't suit the 'reality' kind of taste and is very much 'chibi-like' and 'anime/manga themed'. Graphics - The graphics to this game is either hit or miss. The game involves a lot of grinding through dungeons and leveling up, but I think it's all worth it. IF the time ever comes though, I know me and I'm sure a few others as well) will do anything to help make it happen. In my honest opinion, I think that Elsword is one of the best anime mmo rpg I've ever played. I think a good Twin Saga server would be a game changer right now, but as you said, I'm sure the Vendetta GMs have their hands tied with the games they currently have already. The games are very similar though, and people are usually partial to one or the other. to is dead and Aeria had a lot of players, but it was massively P2W (as most, if not all, Aeria/Gamigo games are) and mostly catered to people who wanted to spend thousands. Trying out the AK server a little bit ago just made me want to play Twin Saga, but. It was the other way for me personally, I enjoyed Twin Saga so much more than AK. Sadly though all the staff here at VGN are much too busy for a new game as of the current moment and for the foreseeable future. Such as some of the content you see on our EE Awaken server I think the game has a chance at life. That being said this isn't me saying the game is doomed / done for as I believe if someone capable was running the game and made the right changes. Atleast from my experiance when I played it, it just kinda made me want to play AK. Much more similar than something like EE and AK. To be honest there is a reason everyones somewhat shying away from this game and thats just down to the fact that it's less popular than AK and both games pretty much play in a very similar way. There's no server that's actively being worked on alive anymore. The dev/GM for Twin Saga.to doesn't work on the game anymore (they've had the same Astral Puzzle up for like 9 months now? maybe even longer.) and has dropped the game completely, and Aeria is closing down. If there ever was a time to open a server for it though, this is it. Might not be Vendetta (though I wish it was), but whoever jumps on it will definitely see value for the time and effort put into it. I'm not going to ask for a Twin Saga server, because we've already tried. There were new players and guilds popping up everywhere. Right before the server closed, many Aeria/.to players had just hopped on because custom armors got released. ![]() TS.to opened like a week before Aeria/Vendetta if I remember right. Its not worth the time or the effort to bring it back.Īs one of the players who jumped on the Twin Saga hype train on release, I think the issue was more so that Aeria, Vendetta and TS.to all opened within like a week of each other, and even the TW one hadn't been open very long. It was given a go and barely had any sort of playerbase to it.
